Welcome!
This site gathers my writing, teaching and research in one place—from articles and guides to courses, research and long‑form projects shaped by more than thirty years of ministry and mission, listening and learning, success and setback. My hope is that what you find here helps you see more clearly, think more deeply and participate more fully with the Father in His advancing Kingdom on earth.
Whether you’re here to read, learn or wrestle with the questions facing followers of Jesus today, I’m glad you’ve found your way here.
Exploring the Message of Jesus
The Message of Jesus turned the early followers of Jesus into a flood of self‑giving love and extravagant good deeds that transformed their world.
By contrast, despite well over two billion adherents, Christendom today has little real impact. Some might even argue that what influence we do have is more harmful than helpful. I have agonised over this dilemma.
For all the many good congregations and sincere believers, something is amiss. Same old, same old will not impact our generation.
I’m convinced we’ve obscured the Message of Jesus and settled for a gospel centred on salvation and the church, rather than the Kingdom.
Through this website, I explore the vital themes needed to rediscover the Father’s heart and to reconnect with the Gospel of the Kingdom—in a phrase, to think Kingdomly.
My hope is to encourage followers of Jesus to partner with Him in His restoration plan for our world, fuelled by the unblushing promises of God. For the God of the rainbow and the God of the cross is more than able to perfect all that concerns us.
