Not a church network. Not a denominational initiative. Something broader, bolder and more deliberate: a movement of people who love Jesus and love Australia, working together to see the Kingdom demonstrated in business, education, media, health, government, the arts and the public square.
This is not a fantasy. This is what Hope Advance is building.
Why Hope Advance Matters
Across Australia, believers are hungry for depth, clarity and a way of following Jesus that could actually stir a nation. They want to live with conviction, resilience and purpose. But most have never had access to the kind of formation environments that produce that depth.
Their identity in Jesus is real, yet they long for it to feel more settled. They believe deeply, yet find their worldview quietly shaped more by culture than the Kingdom. They carry a real sense of calling, yet have never been shown a pathway to walk it out. They ache to make a difference, yet have never been offered the support and formation to do so beyond their locality. The result is genuine passion that lacks direction, real calling that lacks a pathway, and God-given potential that has never had the environment to flourish.
This gap is not closing on its own.
The demands of this cultural moment require formation that is deeper, broader and more sustained than any single local church community can carry alone. How Hope Advance Works
Nations do not change through programs. They change through people. And people change through formation.
Hope Advance is built on a simple but profound architecture.
Five mandates that form people from the inside out. Six drivers that release them into the nation. A two-centred hub that make it possible at scale. Ten levers of cultural influence that shift the national imagination. Each one building on the last. All of it moving in one direction.
Encounter Jesus. Discover Identity. Develop Worldview. Discern Purpose. Advance Kingdom. These are not five steps in a program. They are five life-shaping movements that form the people who shape nations. Everything Hope Advance does flows from these five mandates.
But formed people without direction are potential unrealised. Six national impact drivers take what formation produces and release it into the nation. High-leverage leaders shaped for influence. National insight generated with precision. Sector forums convened around the nation’s deepest challenges. Strategic projects incubated, then deployed as solutions nationwide. And the national imagination slowly, deliberately, renewed. These six drivers build momentum that compounds over time into transformation that is visible, measurable and generational.
To do this at scale requires a physical home. Hope Advance will establish a two-centre purpose-built hub in Australia. A 500-person formation environment where people encounter Jesus, discover identity and begin to see the world through Kingdom eyes. A 150-person national training centre where leaders are equipped, sectors are engaged and the movement is mobilised for national deployment. One integrated pipeline. From first encounter to national impact. And the financial model is designed so the first centre generates the surplus that funds the second, building a resilient financial spine that carries the movement for decades.
From year three, the sixth driver comes fully into its own through Hope Australia. Ten levers of cultural influence activate across the nation. Stories of renewal begin to travel. A new national lexicon takes root. Communicators are trained and released. Cultural moments are created. And a National Hope Index begins to reframe how Australia understands its own health. This is not merely a communications strategy. It is a love-based movement that earns the right to speak by first demonstrating the courage to serve.

Hope Advance is not a church and does not function as a pastoral community. We deeply value the local church and encourage everyone who engages with what we do to be rooted in a faith community. We are not a replacement for that—we are a complement to it.
